Supervisor, Electrical Engineering

Salary Range: $84,188 - $126,283 plus benefits
This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated and versatile engineering professional to join our engineering team. Reporting to the Director of Engineering Services, the Supervisor, Electrical Engineering is responsible for managing a team of professionals in the planning and design work for expansion, modification, operation and maintenance of generation, transmission and distribution assets. As well the position assists in planning and directing departmental goals, objectives and programs.
We are looking for someone with:
• Registered Professional Electrical Engineer (in Canada) designation and eligible for registration in the Yukon with 10 plus years of varied and progressively more senior experience;
• Proven project management skills;
• Strong electrical utility experience primarily in the areas of high voltage (138kV), transmission, distribution lines and substations;
• Solid supervisory, computer and interpersonal skills; and
• A proven track record and commitment to safe procedures and encouraging a safe work environment.
