Code of Conduct

Yukon Energy puts great trust in our staff to act with integrity and a sense of responsibility. As an organization that is responsible to and services the public, it is essential that a high standard of professional conduct is maintained by Yukon Energy employees.

With this in mind, here are some of the principles on which our Code of Conduct and our Workplace Conduct policies are based:

Employees are expected to be courteous and respectful at all times in dealing with customers, suppliers, contractors, consultants and fellow employees.

Workplace harassment will not be tolerated.

Employees shall not communicate confidential information to anyone not entitled to receive it, and must use utmost care and discretion in handling confidential or privileged information.

Employees shall not use Yukon Energy resources, including equipment, materials and vehicles other than for conducting the Corporation’s business.

Employees shall not engage in any business transaction or have a financial or personal interest in any business transaction which affects their ability to carry out their duties with Yukon Energy.

Employees must not show favouritism or bias toward any vendor, contractor or others doing business with Yukon Energy.
