Question: A friend mentioned to me that one of the three LNG fuel storage tanks was damaged during shipping and has been now confirmed to be unrepairable. The company who manufactured the tank has declared bankruptcy and the rate payers are on the hook for paying to replace the tank? Is this true?

Thanks for the question. One of the three LNG tanks did sustain minor damage during transportation to site. The tank supplier inspected the tank once it had been installed and declared that the tank was fit for service. We continue to monitor the tank, including doing some leak testing that was completed this summer. As part of this testing, a number of seals on the external tank fixtures were replaced. The tank remains in service and we don’t have any plans to replace it.
