At Yukon Energy, we believe in the importance of educating tomorrow's generation about energy conservation, the environment, and electrical safety. To this end we are a big supporter of energy and science fairs and we offer school tours of our Whitehorse facility. We continue to make improvements to our fishway to make a visit there as educational and enjoyable as possible.
We have also worked with the Yukon's Department of Education and the Kwanlin Dun First Nation on curriculum-relevant materials that can be used in the classroom, including an on-line brochure (see pdf on this page) and a DVD that details the life cycle of the chinook salmon.
