Haeckel Hill
Yukon Energy's two wind turbines that sit on top of Haeckel Hill near Whitehorse are a spectacular sight, but it was no easy task to erect these structures. The following slideshow of photos by Cathie Archbould tells the story of the installation of the larger turbine, the Vestas V47-600 kW, which was put up in September 2000.
